Junior Plant Engineer
Job description:
Under the supervision of the Plant Engineer, support upkeep and continuous operation of all Glatt facility and process equipment as directed. Support and assist functions, programs, projects, and advancement of Plant Facility Engineering efforts under direction of supervisor. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
Preferred skills:
-Experience in industrial facility maintenance, technical level AAS, BSME degree preferred.
-Working knowledge of facility and, mechanical equipment, systems or familiarity through formal trainings necessary.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Prior, hands-on experience, specifically Knowledge of with circuits and control system. Troubleshooting sequences, repair of equipment and instruments with focus on building systems, industrial controls, HVAC, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic devices, motors and frequency drives.
-Knowledge of codes including NFPA, NEC, NEMA, cGMPs, OSHA required, as well as other affected industry standards. Black Seal boiler licenses preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
-Energetic, passionate, positive attitude required with a willingness to learn while pursuing job tasks in a cooperative manner. Apply critical thinking while considering all business impact aspects before taking job related actions that could cause unwanted consequences such as loss of revenue, unsafe events, and other risks. Ability to apply independent judgement and perform in a small company environment where rapid changes occur constantly.
